2.5 No Third‑Party Tracking
We do not use advertising trackers or analytics platforms.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide the Service
- Authenticate access
- Notify you of document requests
- Enforce Terms
- Detect abuse
- Comply with law
We will never sell your data.
4. Document Storage and Encryption
Documents are:

- Decrypted only server‑side to perform release logic
Admin access is impossible except when compelled by valid legal process.
Backups:
- Encrypted
- Retained for up to 30 days
5. Release of Documents
Documents are released only:
- After Requester initiation
- After email notification to you
- After your timer expires without denial
- Or when required by law enforcement
We do not guarantee delivery times.
6. When We Share Data
6.1 Service Operation
If future paid plans are introduced, Stripe or another processor may be used.
We never share your documents with them.
6.2 Legal Requirements
We will comply with:
- Subpoenas
- Court orders
- Warrants
6.3 Abuse Prevention
Information may be shared to investigate:
- Fraud
- Abuse
- Security threats
7. Children's Privacy
The Service is not for anyone under the age of 18.
We delete accounts of minors.
8. Account and Document Deletion
8.1 Document Deletion
Immediate and permanent (excluding up to 30 days of encrypted backups).
8.2 Account Deletion
Request via support@documentrelease.com.
Processed within 30 days unless legally restricted.
8.3 Post‑Death Requests
Heirs may request deletion only, never access.
Proof of death required.

Measures include:

- Limited admin access
No system is perfectly secure.
